Corporate Quality

Nippon Gohsei established Japan's first comprehensive management system to enhance the quality of all its business processes

In July of 2001, Nippon Gohsei acquired certification company-wide to international standards in both ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management. That same month also marked the launch of the company's own Comprehensive Management System, aimed at improving quality and transparency in all its management and work processes.

Nippon Gohsei's management system applies the techniques of ISO certification across the board. Key features are management manuals and operating rules, custom-made for each department and verified through monthly internal audits, and constantly fine-tuned to achieve concrete improvements in work.

The management system also ensures corporate ethics and legal compliance through regular reviews of all operations, so that we may live up to the confidence our customers and society have placed in us.

We have also established the "Theme Discovery Committee" to encourage every employee to propose better methods for all our business processes. The goal of the committee is to develop active participation, improve work efficiency and discover new business opportunities. These systems contribute to the strength of our corporation to meet the needs of our customers and respond to the future, both at home and abroad.

Orchestrating the expertise of each company to further enhance the capabilities of the entire group

The movement for management reform initiated by our Comprehensive Management System is flowing out to the group companies that support Nippon Gohsei. Section meetings by operation type have been organized to deepen the collective strength of the 28 companies that form our group.

These include chemical product manufacturers, film manufacturers, commercial firms, high-pressure gas manufacturers, engineering companies and logistics companies, all united to build a closer information-sharing network in the mission to provide solutions that benefit our customers.

By improving each member's expertise and linking them organically, we strive to maximize the benefits to our customers.
